The Black Keys at the Verizon Center with opening act Arctic Monkeys. Great show! The best songs were Lonely Boy, Ten Cent Pistol, Next Girl, Little Black Submarine, Howlin’ for You, and Gold on the Ceiling.
Adventure to Free Fest with Aaron! To get all the way to Merriweather Post Pavilion we took and hour long metro ride to Greenbelt, an hour long bus to BWI Airport, got stuck at the airport for one and a half hours, then finally got a hour long bus ride to Free Fest. The entire trip took about five hours. At Free Fest we saw Cee Lo Green, Patti Smith, James Murphy, TV on the Radio, and The Black Keys. After a long and exhausting day we decided to pay the expensive cab just to bring us home instead of taking another five hour adventure.
